For Founders
YOU’VE GOT A VISION… LET’S GET TO WORK.
NBIF capital is designed to enable tech startups to grow. We provide early-stage equity investment in exchange for ownership – sharing both the risk and the reward with founders. Returns are invested into the next generation of companies.
We don’t just look at what you’ve built. We look at where you’re headed.
We provide the capital to support your product, market, team, and financials.
We’re looking for:
A tech company that can scale with a strong market fit.
A unique product or business model.
A large, global market.
Early validation and real customers.
A founder and/or team with grit that is New Brunswick based.
12-18 months of runway and solid financial projections that show you’re thinking ahead.
HOW IT WORKS
We give you the capital and confidence for you to execute your vision. We are patient capital, focused on long-term outcomes.

Tell us what you’re building and why it matters. Reach out to our Venture Capital team with a clear story, a strong plan, and a vision for scale. We’re looking for bold ideas backed by founders ready to execute. If your opportunity fits our strategy, we bring you in for a deeper conversation to understand your traction, your vision, and your path to scale.
We look for signs that your momentum is real:
You have the potential to or are generating meaningful revenue.
Your startup is growing to meet demand.
You’re attracting investor interest.
You’ve secured non-dilutive funding through grants or loans.
Our equity investment is designed to give you 12–18 months of runway to hit your next milestones: Refining your product, hiring the right people, building your brand, and protecting your IP.

This is where we dig in. We look at your traction, product, team, and market to see if your company has the momentum and ambition for early-stage investment.
