As Principal at NBIF, Jaime works across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities to conducting due diligence, structuring investments, and supporting portfolio companies as a board observer. He works closely with founders to assess growth opportunities and help companies navigate key stages of their development.

Prior to joining NBIF, Jaime founded his own startup and built experience across venture capital and private equity, including investment roles with Innovacorp. The combination of founder and investor perspectives gives him a practical understanding of the opportunities and challenges entrepreneurs face while building companies.

Jaime holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Queen's University and an MBA from Saint Mary's University. He currently serves as a board observer for several NBIF portfolio companies. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his young family and finding opportunities to get outdoors with his two sons.
