Funke Yusuf is NBIF's Finance & Operations Specialist, supporting the organization's financial management, operational processes, and reporting functions.

Before joining NBIF, Funke spent three years with the Axis Sales Accelerator at the University of New Brunswick in Saint John, working closely with startup founders on financial modelling, investment readiness, and program operations. She also serves as a Venture Capital Fellow with BKR Capital and has held finance, accounting, and operations roles in New Brunswick and Lagos, Nigeria across the startup, fintech, real estate, and energy sectors.

Funke holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management from the University of New Brunswick, an MSc in Finance, a Bachelor of Education in Education Management with Economics, and a Diploma in Accounting. She is an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) and CFA Program Level III Candidate.

She is passionate about building strong foundations for growth and supporting entrepreneurs as they scale innovative businesses. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering, mentoring, lifelong learning, and spending time with her family.
