As Vice President of Investments, Daniel leads NBIF's investment activities and works closely with founders as they raise capital, execute growth strategies, and scale their businesses. He brings extensive experience across venture capital, private markets, and institutional investing, with a proven track record in structuring complex financings, leading due diligence, and advising founders and executive teams on growth and capital planning.

Prior to joining NBIF, Daniel held senior investment roles with a leading venture capital impact fund, BDC Capital, and the Bank of Canada. At BDC Capital, he oversaw $850 million in fund investments and managed relationships with 22 venture capital funds across Canada. His leadership experience spans direct investing, fund of funds management, portfolio strategy, and institutional capital formation.

A CFA charterholder with an MBA, Daniel combines deep financial expertise with a founder-focused approach to investing. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring new trails across New Brunswick with his partner, Camille, and their dog, Zelda.
