Prizes
Over $250,000 was awarded to the 2009 winners of Breakthru. Three major prizes were available as well as a number of secondary awards.
The three primary prizes are designed to provide the top entrepreneurial New Brunswickers with a “company in a box” solution that will support the successful launch of their business ventures. They include an equity investment from NBIF and in-kind support from lawyers, accountants, and marketing consultants. With support from these professionals and NBIF, the top three finalists will get a jumpstart to building their business ventures in New Brunswick.
