Energy & Environmental Technologies
To support the growth of New Brunswick's energy hub and the environmental technologies that go with it, we make investments in companies and research that focus on:
- Energy generation - such as wind, solar, hydro/marine, bio-fuel and geothermal
- Energy storage - including fuel cells, advanced batteries or hybrid systems
- Energy infrastructure - for example, expanded natural gas distribution, bio-fuel processing technologies
- Water and waste water treatment and conservation
- Air and climate - such as emission control, clean-up/safety, monitoring/compliance, trading and offsets
- Recycling and waste including recycling, waste treatment, bio-remediation
If your proposition relates to energy, but doesn't clearly fit with the above examples, please contact us so we can assess it and give you feedback about its eligibility. If it doesn't fit with us, we can make suggestions about other funding sources.
